Imagination is the beginning…

I’ve been rereading a little book treasure of mine.  Storytelling New and Old by the great Irish storyteller Padraic Colum.  Here’s a gem I’d like to share.  Colum is actually quoting George Bernard Shaw here.

“Imagination is the beginning of creation.

You imagine what you desire.

You will what you imagine;

And at last, you create what you will.”

What a great compass for where we put our attention and energy!
